Abstract

Over the past decade, there has been rapid digitalization and automation of many processes in the manufacturing industry across multiple critical infrastructures. It is expected that this trend will continue and that cyber threats will also steadily increase in frequency and complexity. The U.S. manufacturing sector is prime for cyber-attack, particularly given increasing reliance on the Internet and interconnected systems.
